How Italians Say To Have A Beautiful Baby

Every single time I have been pregnant, my grandfather Gaetano, never failed to ask me if I was rubbing olive oil on my stomach. The first time he told me this, I chuckled and asked him why? He replied, "Olive oil on your stomach makes you have a beautiful baby!"
Years later, I heard Rocky Balboa say this to Adrian (in Rocky II) and had to laugh! There is definitely something to this then, right?! 😉
Needless to say, olive oil isn't harmful, so I figured why not try it?
